David Ortiz
Baseball · Boston Red Sox · Designated hitter
David Ortiz's most-hunted rookie is the 1997 Fleer #512 card, printed under his original name David Arias, and it is the one card collectors pay real money for. Raw copies sell for about $60, while PSA 10 copies have recently sold around $200 (newest comps from December 2025). His 1998 Topps #257 prospect card and 1998 Bowman #71 have too few recent sold comps to price, and the 2003 Topps Chrome T52 and #99 refractor, the 2005 Bowman Chrome Superfractor 1/1, and the 1998 Bowman Gold auto are mainly known from older or single sales. The market is thin beyond the 1997 Fleer, so treat the other prices as dated or sparse.
